Mother’s Day 2010 comes at a moment of unprecedented opportunity to build a safe, secure, nuclear weapon-free world. That’s why, earlier this year, I helped make a new film, Countdown to Zero, about the need to reduce the nuclear threat and build a better future for our children and future generations. This year, sons and daughters everywhere can honor their mothers, or anyone who inspires them, by reclaiming Mother’s Day’s original meaning.
